How to Make a Tumbler

A simple cylinder form — tumblers are great practice for consistent throwing.

The Process

Every piece goes through forming, drying, trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing. A tumbler takes 2-4 weeks from wet clay to finished piece.

Skills You'll Develop

Making a tumbler teaches fundamental pottery skills — guided by an experienced instructor.
